Luxury lodges in Bwindi are grouped into 4 star and 5 star hotels. Mahogany springs

Located next to Muyanga river facing Bwindi forest park is Mahogany Springs hotel.  Its location in  Bwindi’s Buhoma sector, thus makes Mahogany springs the perfect luxury lodge one can stay during their gorilla trek expeditions.

The lodge rooms are grouped into Superior suites, honey moon suites and a presidential suite. The Superior suite can be a single, double, twin or triple. They are very spacious, with double doors and very beautiful windows. All superior suites at mahogany springs have private terraces that offer scenic views of the surroundings. All rooms have mosquito nets rapped around the beds, for comfort and en-suite showers designed with open earth and soil materials. The Honeymoon suite was developed after Huffington post name Uganda one of the best honeymoon destinations. To contribute to this the management of Mahogany springs decided to construct a honey moon suite that looks like the superior rooms. However the honey moon suite is a little bit larger, with wider bed and a bathtub inside.  In addition to the honeymoon suite, the lodge  has a presidential suite that sleeps 4 people with 2 bedrooms, 2 en-suite bathrooms and a spacious private terraces and living room overlooking the River.

Clouds lodge.

Managed by Wildplaces, Clouds lodge is one of the best accommodations located in the southern sector of Bwindi impenetrable forest. Located in the Jungle the lodge is beautiful and peaceful making it the best in the area.  The Main are is and rooms are built using local materials and the rooms have wooden beams exposed out of every window giving you an endless view of the forest canopy and the Volcanoe Mountains.

The lodge has a main building with a lounge for the guest to converge and relax. The Main building has 6 fireplaces that keep the room warm and dinner is served in the main building.

Gorilla forest camp

Gorilla forest camp, was one of the first luxury lodges in Bwindi. Located in Buhoma sector, Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp’s gives you a unique interpretation of CAMPING. The lodge is located in the remotest areas in Africa which is Bwindi National park, with only 8 comfortable canvas. These are constructed with unique African prints and local materials.

Each tent is very spacious with beds that are lined with neutral toned linens, and designed with local crafts for memorable moments.  All rooms have stone-walled bathrooms that are free-standing to allow you relax after the trek. The Lodge is often visited by a gorilla family, that loves to come and say hullo to the clients.

The lodge has a main building with a lounge and dinning area where dinner and lunch is served. The Lodge of course, serves both international and local foods and drinks are readily available.

Unlike other lodges, Gorilla forest camp has a mini spa which is perfect for those returning from a long trek during gorilla gorillas safari. This spa allows your mind and body to blend and appreciate the natural surroundings of Bwindi forest. Further to the beautiful views of the Bwindi forest, the spa offers herbal massages, hydrating facials, foot massages and manicure using eco-friendly products. Buhoma Lodge

Buhoma lodge is one of the two lodges located within the Bwindi National park and is just a few minutes’ walk to the meeting for the gorilla trek. The has a beautifully elevated lounge couple with a bar and dining room and a spa that make Buhoma Lodge one of the best places to stay during your visit to Bwindi National park during you gorilla safari holiday.

Using local materials the lodge has beautifully designed comfortable chalets with private verandas allowing great views of the Bwindi Forest canopy. All chalets are very spacious, with an en-suite rain shower and flushing toilets. Some chalets have bath tubs for relaxation and enjoyment and relaxation after your gorilla safari trek trip.

Buhoma lodge also has a separate family room with a private lounge that has an open fire place. All chalets at Buhoma lodge have insect proof windows and solar lighting with a secure safe for your valuables.

This is one of the latest additions to the accommodations of Bwindi Area. Just perfect for a night or two nights stay after your Bwindi gorilla trekking safari. Trackers Safari Lodge is a luxury lodge in Bwindi, located in the greater area of Bwindi National park and it is the only Lodge that has a swimming pool around the whole of Bwindi.
