9 DAYS GORILLA TOUR

DAY 1 DRIVE FROM KAMPALA - LAKE MBURO
Our driver will pick you up from Kampala in the morning after taking your breakfast and drive across the Equator then to Lake Mburo National Park (the drive will last about 5 hours). Enjoy your lunch, we will have fun on a boat ride on Lake Mburo and a late afternoon game drive looking for the zebra, impala, eland, topi, oribi, cape buffalos, and with luck, Roan antelopes, leopards, hyenas and jackals. Dinner and over night at
Luxury: Mantana Luxury tented Camp/ Mihingo Lodge/ Rwonyo Camp.

Day 2: DRIVES TO LAKE MBURO - BWINDI GORILLA FOREST
Following an early breakfast at the lodge, we will move to the country sides of Kanungu and move on to Bwindi, Impenetrable Forest National Park habitat of the mountain gorillas. In the evening we will walk to the close by community for a cultural performance. Spend the night at:
Lux: Gorilla Rest camp/ Clouds lodge
Mid range: Nkuringo Gorilla Camp
Budget: Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 3    GORILLA TRACKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NP
Wake up early in the morning, have a cup of warm tea and head to the ranger station for briefing from the guide where you will receive more information about the details of the expedition. Go into the thick bushes to look for the left over gentle eyed apes. At this moment, your patience is required because the time you take to meet them is very unpredictable. Therefore, when you get to see them, you will be excited spend an hour with them. Return to the lodge for relaxing or you may go for a community walk. Enjoy your dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 4   GAME VIEWING SAFARI IN ISHASAHA
Having finished your breakfast we will depart Bwindi early and move to Queen Elizabeth
National Park.  We'll go through the southern part of the park referred to
Ishasha, renowned for its tree-climbing lions. This National Park is recognized by UNESCO
World Biosphere and is a home to part of the greatest biodiversity ratings of any game
Reserve in the world! About 100 mammal species and more than 606 bird species can be found. Elephants, Lots of hippos, the elusive giant forest hog and the handsome Uganda kob all usually sighted.  In the afternoon, we will have a visit to the crater regions. Dinner and overnight at:

Mid Range: Kingfisher lodge/ Ihamba lodge

Day 5 THE LAUNCH CRUISE
Rise early in the morning for a game drive and return to the lodge for mid morning break fast and lunch. During the afternoon head for the launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. This will give you the chance to diversity of schools of hippos, crocodiles, and several bird species. Return for dinner and over night.

Day 6 CHIMP TRACKING IN KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Having finished your breakfast go for brief morning game drive, we depart after breakfast and enjoy a game drive. Drive to Kibale national park to prepare for your afternoon Chimpanzee tracking.  Enjoy the view of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way to Kibale. Having finished your Lunch, go to Kanyanchu where the head quarters are found and have a briefing from the guide who will later lead you into the expedition. Return and relax as you wait for dinner and overnight at :
Lux: Ndali lodge/Primate lodge
Mid range: Rwenzori view guest house
Budget: Kanyanchu ecological bandas/ chimp’s nest camp

Day7   MURCHISON FALLS & THE TOP OF THE FALLS
Early in the morning drive to Murchison Falls national park.   Visit the Top of the falls when you reach there. Dinner and Overnight at:
Lux: Paara safari lodge, Nile safari camp
Mid Range: Sabinyo lodge
Budget: Red Chillis Camp                                                                                                                                

Day 8   THE NILE RIVER LAUNCH CRUISE
Wake up early in the morning for a game drive. During this drive, you will go to the northern section of the park where you will see the lions, elephants, water bucks, and then in the after noon enjoy a launch cruise on the Nile where you will be able to see families of lions moving down to quench there thirst, Buffaloes, a myriad of different bird species as they move around the banks of the river.
Return to your lodge fro dinner and overnight

Day 9   ZZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY
Early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast and start on your return journey to a Kampala. Enroute you will visit the Rhinos and track them. Have lunch, and then proceed to Kampala then to Entebbe for your next flight back home
