5 DAYS UGANDA AND RWANDA

Day 1 To Bwindi
Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Kampala and drive west to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Have a journey break at the Equator have some photos. Then continue to Mbarara town where you will stop for lunch prior to heading through the grasslands of Ankole. At this place you will enjoy the beauty of the wonderful long horned cattle before going on to the highlands of Kigezi referred to as the ‘Switzerland of Africa! You will arrive in Bwindi in the evening; freshen up as you wait for dinner and over night. Dinner and overnight at
LUX: Clouds lodge/ Gorilla Resort Camp
MID RANGE: Lake Kitandara camp/Gorilla Forest Camp
BUDGET: Buhoma homestead/Buhoma community Bandas.

Day 2 Gorilla Trekking
Have a heavy breakfast, and then move to the ranger station for briefing from ranger guides who will guide you through the impenetrable forest. Tracking the Gorillas through the thick forest is awe-Inspiring experience! In case you are lucky you can get to see the gorillas, spend 1 hour with them, and be back at the lodge in time for dinner. Remember to carry packed lunch, enough water as this activity is so tiring, its also important to wear good hiking boots of an ankle level and long trousers for protection against stinging nettles. Some times the slope may be steep so you must carry Dinner and overnight LUX: Clouds lodge/ Volcanoes Lodge/
MID RANGE: Lake Kitandara camp/Gorilla Resort/
BUDGET: Buhoma homestead/Buhoma community Bandas.

Day 3 To Rwanda
Enjoy your breakfast, afterwards depart for Rwanda passing through the Ankole region, where you see the typical Ankole cattle, coffee plantations and the various vegetations of Uganda, up to the terraced and cultivated hills of the Kigezi region, best known as “the Switzerland of Africa”. Kisoro is found at the base of Muhavura volcano on the borders between Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. The vicinity has one of the best sceneries as you move past the border and reach Ruhengeri in Rwanda in time for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 Gorilla Tracking
Following your breakfast, go to ORTPN offices for briefing after that set off in the forest for Gorilla trekking. Gorilla trekking is quite stressful but enjoyable on encounter of these gentle giants. Carry with you a parked lunch and a lot of water. The excitement of your coming across with these calm giants will wipe away your complexity of the potentially strenuous trek. Spend time watching gorillas, watch the adults feeding their young ones, brushing and resting as the youngsters play from vines in a pleasurably playful display. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. In case if you complete your tracking very early,   our guides are accepted to drive you to Kabale to shorten the distance.

Day 5  To Kampala
Having taken your breakfast drive back to Kampala. Lunch en route reaching in the early evening.
