3 DAY WILDLIFE TOUR TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
DAY 1: ENROUTE SAFARI ATTRACTIONS
In the morning, our tour guide will drive you from your overnight accommodation early in the morning you will head to the western direction. Break your journey at the equator and Mpabirwe drum makers and do some shopping. Move on to Mbarara incase you want to visit lake Mburo you willl pay an extra cost incase you are not interested, carry on to Mbarara and enjoy lunch at Agip Motel afterwards go on to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On the way you will drive through tea plantation under Rwenzori commodities and banana plantations. When you enter the park you will be able to view the escapements of Rwenzori Mountain Crater Lakes, rift valley and view some animals on the road side. Enjoy evening game drives within the park and see animals like tree climbing lions, lions, waterbucks, elephants, buffaloes, Kobs, bushbucks, warthogs, leopard however it may be had top see. Afterward have dinner at Mweya or institute of ecology with a view of Kazinga channel and Lake Edward peninsular.
DAY 2: Guided Walks
On this day you will have fun the entire day but you may feel some fatigue at the close of the day’s activity. You will take a cup of African tea early in the morning and enjoy a chimp safari to Kyanbura Gorge meet the buffaloes, water bucks, warthogs, a number of birds, lions, Uganda kobs and others animals. Afterwards move to Katunguru trading centre where there are various ethnic groups with slightly related languages for culture performances. You will be driven back to mweya lodge for refreshments and lunch.
Proceeding your lunch, you will go for the most interesting surprises which a waiting you in the extensive Maramaganbo forest. Prior to taking you take forest walks a brief history and back ground of the forest will be said out to you. As you are on the guided for the nature walks, you will view the bat cave in there are pythons which on the bats. There are other more trails which will take you to crater lakes and the blue River which is close to the bat caves. You may in addition see other primate like chimps, elephants and birds. Come back to your accommodation for dinner and over night.
DAY 3: Morning Game Drives
Having missed viewing some animals, you will be given a chance to have an early morning game drive were you will be able to see early risers. The game drives will begin at 6:30 when the predators are coming back to their hideout. You may get a chance to see elephants, lions, spotted hyenas, leopards and hippos grazing. Following game drives enjoy late break fast at Mweya. Then move on to Kampala via Kasese Fort portal road enjoy dinner and over night at any hotel of your choice where you will pick for Air port transfers.
