DAY 1: NAIROBI – MT KENYA

Our tours representative will meet with you at the airport and drive you southwards to the foothills of Mount Kenya to reach Mountain lodge built on the slopes. Serena mountain lodge provides great panoramic views in addition to the rich abundance of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the Mountain Lodge

DAY 2: MT KENYA – LAKE NAKURU

Take breakfast and you will be transferred to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. The drive may take you approximately. You will have lunch and then go for an afternoon game drive at the Pink Lake which gets its name from the fact that it is a habitat for thousands of pink flamingos and other birdlife. If you are lucky you will encounter most of the “big five” except the Elephant. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge

DAY 3: NAKURU – MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Take your breakfast and then leave for Masai Mara. A game drive en route will provide you with encounters of animals that you may have missed seeing the previous game drive. You may encounter warthogs and water bucks at the brims of the Lake as you drive along. Across the Loita plains, you will encounter red clad Maasai warriors as they tend their multi-colored herds among-st plains’ game. You will arrive Mara at lunch time. Later in the afternoon, you will go for a game drive. Maasai Mara is where hopefully you sall have a chance to witness some of the Great Migration of wildebeests and zebra. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge or Keekrok Lodge or Olonana Lodge or the Lodge of your budget

DAY 4: MASAI MARA – GAME DRIVES

An early morning breakfast and then leave the lodge for a full day of game drives within the Masai Mara. Look out for wild game like the black manned lion for which Mara is famous, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, zebra, wildebeeste, the grants gazelle and if you are lucky, the rare rhino might come out of the thicket for you, hyenas are plentiful. A picnic lunch at one point in the Mara is adventurous and then Continue your drive to the hippo point where schools of hippo immerse on the approach of vehicles only to facade seconds later to yell and grouse their annoyance as the crocodiles lie in the sun on the river bank’s mouths open-mouthed. DAY 5: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI

You will take breakfast and then indulge in another game drive to see those encounters that you may have missed seeing or to get better views or sights of those that you may have not seen so well. Then later, you will drive back to the lodge for breakfast and thereafter leave for Nairobi with game drive en route to arrive late afternoon. Overnight at Panafric Hotel/ Jacaranda Hotel or Hilton Hotel or the hotel of your budget

DAY 6: NAIROBI – ARUSHA

Leave Nairobi for Arusha, Tanzania, arriving in the afternoon and check in at the newly constructed, modern Arusha Crown Hotel or the hotel of your budget

DAY 7: ARUSHA – NGORONGORO

Take breakfast, and leave for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro Conservation Area’s main attribute is the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979 and one of the most spectacular places of interest in Africa. It is one of the principal undamaged caldera’s in the world and has the Largest number of predator populace in Africa. Located at the eastern edge of the Serengeti in Northern Tanzania, Ngorongoro crater is a home to tusked Elephant, black maned lion, cheetah, hyena, Thomson’s gazelle are a predator’s reverie, zebra, wildebeest , black Rhinos, large herds of Buffalo , as well as thousands of lesser and greater flamingos in the soda lake. Volcanic Ngorongoro is now considered “Africa’s Garden of Eden”. Before it detonated and collapsed 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro Volcano was one of the world’s tallest mountains. The crater measures about 19 kilometers (12 miles) across and the rim is 600 meters (2,000 feet) above the crater floor. The Maasai people live within the conservation area around the crater. Known as nomadic herders and warriors, a visit to these traditional, temporary villages “enkangs” is a highlight for all visitors to the area. Get a glimpse of their fascinating culture: see them in their bright red robes, watch as they create ornate bead-work and how they live off the land by utilizing cattle. DAY 8: NGORONGORO – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Have your breakfast and then proceed to Serengeti. You will be driven through the Great Rift Valley and stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important antediluvian sites in the world also known as the cradle of mankind. Olduvai Gorge is situated in the eastern Serengeti in northern Tanzania within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The gorge is a sheer sided 4 to 8- kilometer (30 mile) long ravine, which makes up part of the Great East African Rift Valley. Placed on a series of fault lines, along with centuries of erosion, Olduvai Gorge contains of fossils and leftovers of early man which has been active in advancing perceptive of early human evolution. Have lunch and then proceed arriving in Serengeti for late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at either of the lodges in Serengeti National park

DAY 9: SERENGETI PLAIN

Full day in Serengeti with early morning and late afternoon game drives in the vast Serengeti plain. The term Serengeti means endless plains in Maasai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena and cheetah. This park is where the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra begins in June as they travel to the Kenyan Maasai Mara usually arriving there by July. Varied bird species can be seen here including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. Dinner and overnight at the lodge of your budget

DAY 10: LAKE MANYARA

Take a brief game drive along the way to Lake Manyara. Have lunch and then indulge in an afternoon game drive inside the park to search for wild game, the park is home to plenty of game and bird-life. Search for Lake Manyara Np’s tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. This gorgeous park is at the pedestal of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and is made up of areas of forest, grasslands, woodland and swamps. Gazelles, impala, buffalo, wildebeest, the famous tree climbing lion, hippopotamus, baboon, hyena, giraffe, and a great number of smaller mammals, 350 species of bird, storks and flamingos. Lake Manyara Np is made up of contains five separate vegetation zones and is of an attractive beauty. DAY 11: LAKE MANYARA | DEPARTURE

Indulge in an early morning game drive en route to Arusha to search for encounters that you may have missed out on the previous game drive. You will arrive on time for check in to catch your shuttle back to Nairobi, arrive in the early evening and later transfer to the international airport to catch your flight back home or have an overnight stay in your hotel in Nairobi depending on your preference
